Drummer Pedro Ahets Etcheberry was born in 1977 in Azul, Argentina. He began his musical career at thirteen years-old when he began to study drums in his hometown. At seventeen years old he moved to Buenos Aires, where he studied music at the Contemporary Institute of Music, and graduated in 2000.

Since then, he continues to improve his musical language by studying with the great Argentine musicians, Ernesto Jodos, Eduardo Casalla and Enrrique Norris, as well as in New York City with drummers Adam Nussbaum and Jochen Reukert.

Among the musicians and groups that he has performed with on various stages of the Argentine jazz circuit are Enrrique Norris, Ernesto Jodos, Andres Hayes, Juan Ignacio Caino, Hernan Merlo, Carlos Lastra, Carlos Alvarez, Marcelo Gutfraind, Luis Nacht, Geronimo Carmona, Eduardo Cavalli, Sergio Wagner, Misael Parolla, Federico Llach, Patricio Carpossi, George Garzone, Mariano Otero, and Fernando Botti.

He has participated in several records such as:
